As a founding member of the European Think-tank Network on China (ETNC), the Institute of International Economic Relations (IIER/ΙΔΟΣ) contributes a chapter on Greece to the new annual ETNC report titled “National Perspectives on Europe’s De-risking from China”.
The report has been produced under the editorial lead of the National China Centre at The Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI).
The European countries covered in this report have taken different positions on de-risking from China. The authors have identified four categories depending on the relevant debate in and practical response of the countries in question:
- Early Advocates
- Endorsers/Followers
- Cautious Adopters
- Opponents
Greece has been placed in the category of “cautious adopters”.
The report is available here.
