Sejong Institute visits IIER

Large delegation consisting of trainees of the Sejong Institute (Republic of Korea) visited the premises of the Institute of International Economic Relations (IEER)

 On 19 September 2014 a large delegation consisting of trainees of the Sejong Institute (Republic of Korea) visited the premises of the Institute of International Economic Relations (IEER). This visit was included in the program of their educational trip to Greece. The Senjong Institute is an important Korean think tank which contacts research on the world economy and globalization issues. It implements also training programs, like the Sejong National Strategy Program. In these programs senior government officials and persons from trade unions, institutes and media are taking part.  During their visit, the Director of the Institute Dr. Charalambos Tsardanidis briefed them on the economic crisis facing Greece and analyzed its prospects for the near future. A fruitful and interesting dialogue followed.
